Tim is responsible for overseeing all Derivative and Alternative Operational activities across Hermes and thier chosen outsource partners for this business. Tim is also responsible for overseeing the regulatory roadmap in relation to Derivatives within Hermes, ensuring they are compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements. His role also covers interaction with policy-makers, regulatory bodies and trade associations.
Tim has recently introduced a new framework to manage EMIR Risk Mitigation requirements that introduces a higher technology based solution.
Tim has led the Hermes review of the Clearing Obligations and how these may or may not impact on Hermes. He hopes to be able to deliver the views of a smaller asset management firm that isn’t affected by all the Clearing Obligations.
