Simon Puleston Jones is Head of Europe for FIA, the global trade association for the cleared derivatives industry that represents investment banks, commodity brokers, exchanges, clearing houses, energy companies, inter-dealer brokers, principal trading firms and others.

He is also Chairman of the Joint Trade Association Group (a forum of nearly 20 of the leading financial services trade associations), which focusses on Brexit and MiFID II.

Simon was previously CEO of FIA Europe and prior to that headed the European legal coverage for futures and OTC clearing for Barclays, being one of their lead lawyers dealing with regulatory change. Earlier in his career, he worked both in-house and at the law firm Simmons & Simmons, advising investment banking clients on structured finance transactions.
