Karen Newton is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, based in London. She is Head of Global Collateral Management and Client Valuations Reporting for IB Operations and a member of the IB Operations Global Management Committee. Prior to this role, Ms. Newton was responsible for the External Market Initiative Strategy globally within the OTC Operations and also served as Head of OTC Operations in EMEA. Karen is currently preparing Credit Suisse for compliance with bilateral margining rules, and will be sharing key challenges and successes at Clearing & Settlement World for the buy side to follow for mandate Q1 2017.
